When developing our cavoodle shampoo & conditioner we were adamant about creating a formula that was as natural as possible, without compromising on quality.

We have nothing to hide! That is why our formula contains the following key natural and coconut-based ingredients: 

SHAMPOO: aqua (purified water), sodium lauroyl sarcosinate (coconut-derived cleanser that removes dirt and build-up without stripping the coat), cocamidopropyl betaine (a gentle coconut-derived cleanser that creates a soft, creamy lather), decyl glucoside (a plant-derived cleanser made from coconut and glucose), glycerin (a plant-derived moisturiser that helps the skin and coat retain hydration), parfum (our warm cinnamon & pear fragrance), caprylyl/capryl glucoside (a gentle plant-derived cleanser that helps evenly blend the fragrance through the formula), sodium cocoyl glutamate (a cleanser derived from coconut and amino acids), polyglyceryl-6 oleate (a plant-derived conditioning ingredient that helps leave the coat feeling soft and smooth), glyceryl caprylate (a plant-derived moisturising and formula-protecting ingredient), citric acid (helps maintain a skin-friendly ph balance), sodium surfactin (an amino acid and fatty-acid-based cleanser that gently lifts away dirt and oils), beta-glucan (a moisture-supporting ingredient that helps soothe and condition dry or sensitive skin), aloe barbadensis leaf juice (aloe vera to hydrate and soothe the skin), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e to nourish and condition the skin and coat), ethyltrimonium chloride methacrylate/hydrolysed wheat protein copolymer (a wheat-protein-based conditioning ingredient that helps improve softness, body and manageability), saccharide isomerate (a plant-derived moisture-binding sugar that helps support lasting hydration), prunus amygdalus dulcis oil (sweet almond oil to nourish and soften the skin and coat), cocos nucifera oil (coconut oil to moisturise the skin and leave the coat soft and conditioned), glyceryl undecylenate (a plant-derived conditioning ingredient that also helps keep the formula fresh and stable). 

CONDITIONER: aqua (purified water), polyquaternium-7 (a lightweight conditioning ingredient that helps soften the coat, reduce tangles and make brushing easier), panthenol (pro-vitamin B5 – helps moisturise and condition the skin and coat, leaving fur feeling soft and smooth), cetearyl alcohol (a moisturising fatty alcohol – not the drying kind of alcohol – that helps soften and condition the coat), behentrimonium chloride (a conditioning and detangling ingredient that helps smooth the coat, reduce knots and make brushing easier), isoamyl laurate (a lightweight skin- and coat-softening ingredient that leaves fur feeling silky without a heavy or greasy finish), camellia oleifera seed oil (camellia seed oil – a plant-derived nourishing oil that helps moisturise, soften and add shine to the coat), glyceryl caprylate (a skin-conditioning ingredient that helps moisturise while also helping keep the formula fresh and stable), glyceryl undecylenate (a conditioning ingredient that helps soften the skin and coat while supporting the freshness of the formula), parfum (our warm cinnamon & pear fragrance), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E – an antioxidant that helps nourish and condition the skin and coat), aloe barbadensis leaf juice (aloe vera – a plant-derived ingredient known for its hydrating and soothing properties), beta-glucan (a moisture-supporting ingredient that helps soothe, hydrate and condition dry or sensitive skin).

COLOGNE: aqua (purified water), laureth-7 (a gentle cleansing and blending ingredient that helps the formula spread evenly through the coat), parfum (our warm cinnamon & pear fragrance), amodimethicone (a lightweight conditioning ingredient that helps smooth the coat, reduce tangles and leave fur feeling silky and manageable), trideceth-12 (helps evenly distribute the conditioning ingredients throughout the formula and across the coat), cetrimonium chloride (a conditioning and detangling ingredient that helps reduce knots, static and makes brushing easier), phenoxyethanol (a preservative used in small amounts to keep the product fresh and protected from unwanted bacteria and microbes), ethylhexylglycerin (a skin-conditioning ingredient that also helps support the formula’s preservative system), tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E – an antioxidant that helps nourish and condition the skin and coat), aloe barbadensis leaf juice (aloe vera – a plant-derived ingredient known for its hydrating and soothing properties), beta-glucan (a moisture-supporting ingredient that helps soothe, hydrate and condition dry or sensitive skin), alcohol (helps the formula dry efficiently and allows the conditioning ingredients to spread evenly through the coat).

The everyday cavoodle cologne spray can be used on your cavoodle's wet or dry coats leavings it soft and shiny, perfect for day trip outings to the beach or to quickly freshen up their coat when it gets a bit smelly! Frequently asked questions:

Is it okay to use on other dog breeds?

Yes our products are perfectly safe and suitable for other dog breeds, and work especially well on oodles, we are just very passionate about cavoodles so decided to niche down the business originally, but have lots of customers who don't own cavoodles and still swear by our products as it helps to keep the coat shiny, soft, fluffy, smell good for a long time and great for dogs with sensitive skin too!

Some breeds who also love our products include poodles, spoodles, moodles, schnoodles, groodles, labradoodles, sheepadoodles, aussiedoodles, cavaliers, bichon frisé maltese & Shih Tzu's. 

Is it okay to use on cavoodles with sensitive or dry skin?

We definitely know a lot of cavoodles suffer from dry flaky skin so we made sure a lot of good hydrating ingredients were in our formulas like coconut oil, vitamin e, aloe Vera, oatmeal, almond oil.

They are also sulphate, paraben-free, vegan-friendly, hypoallergenic and pH balanced so definitely safe to use for sensitive skin cavoodles.

However, if your cavoodle actually has a serious skin condition like dermatitis or alopecia, you may need to talk to your vet about getting a medicated shampoo, ours is not medicated.

Is mycavoodle shampoo and conditioner safe to use on puppies?

Yes, we have developed our formulas so that it is safe for young cavoodle puppies and adults! It is tear-free, soap-free and pH balanced made with gentle ingredients for their skin and coats.

Do these products lather?

Our mycavoodle shampoo has great lathering qualities. However, our leave-in conditioner does not lather up as it can be used in either wet or dry coats. It is more like a hydrating-serum or mask to leave on the coat to help strengthen and soften hair. 

Will they shampoo and conditioner strip colour?

No, our products will not strip your cavoodle's natural coat colour, if you use a hairdryer and slicker brush to dry them, then their coat will naturally look "lighter" because they will be fluffy and soft.

Directions to use:

Shampoo: generously apply enough shampoo in your hands and mix with water to create a lather on your cavoodles body. Avoid the eyes. Give them a massage to show you care. Rinse well and repeat again. Follow with mycavoodle conditioner on a wet or dry coat or both for extra freshness!

Conditioner: can either be used on a wet or dry coat.

Wet: generously apply enough conditioning serum in your hands and rub through your cavoodles coat. No need to mix with water, it will not create a lather. Leave in as long as possible to soften the coat or any matting/knots. Wash out after 2 minutes. Can be applied to the coat again before drying or after.

Dry: perfect to use between washes, no water needed, just rub through hands and massage into your cavoodles dry or smelly coat. Brush through with a slicker brush and leave in to keep them smelling like a warm baked pie.
